Bellevue-based Apptio has a new logo, a new headquarters and a growing slate of new customers. Things are going well for the Sunny Gupta-led company, which showed off its new HQ at an open house Thursday night. The five-year-old company has leased three floors of the Plaza East building, about 60,000 square feet of space. And to fill all of that space, Apptio plans to go on an aggressive hiring spree this year, adding between 100 and 150 people to the 350-strong workforce.

What does a logo really say about a company? Oftentimes, startups don’t have the brainpower or time to mess around with a logo, slapping together something in PhotoShop of little significance or meaning. If it looks good enough, just ship it. But that’s not the case at Apptio, which just celebrated its fifth anniversary and is becoming one of Seattle’s fastest-growing companies.

Gupta, who previously co-founded iConclude, took a big step up to the plate in March when Apptio raised $50 million in venture funding from the likes of T. Rowe Price, Madrona Venture Group, Greylock and others. It was among the biggest venture capital deals in the state this year, putting a very healthy $600 million valuation on the enterprise software company.
